IKTV 201 - The Question Of The Middle East

Michael introduces the second season of IKTV, and discusses the history of the Middle East from the Roman and Ottoman empires, and what happened as a result.  Once the Ottoman empire was broken up after World War I, the British, French and other arab forces divided this area up in a conquest for corporate extraction of petroleum resources.  Michael talks about how Hitler had been instrumental in cooperating with arab leaders during WWII to settle Jewish people in the newly created Palestinian state.  Some callers help me figure out some new show topics.  Mr. Bill calls in for the first time, and predicts (accurately?) a dramatic change in power structures in the Middle East, and that a new leader affecting China and Russia will arise from Jordan.  Another caller mentions how the Saudi powers are distracting their people, who are larlely destitute, by constantly harping about the Israel-Palestine conflict, and how not all that many people, particularly in the area, agree with war in the area; also how Mexico is facing a similar problem in Oaxaca.  I mention a figure of 600,000 dead Iraqi civilians due to the putsch for privatization of oil markets, and that we should get out now.  Another caller states that the problem between Muslims and Jews has been happening since the time of Abraham (was that due to the use of a time machine?) and other future Jordanic apocalyptic figures.  Other topics discussed are masonry and illuminati, conspiracy facts, bohemian grove, Dealey Plaza, Zapruder, Michael Moore, Oswald and physics, Iraq and Iran and their supposed nukes, Israel and its real nukes, foreign aid, 9/11, Hegelian Dialectic and false flags, numerology and fives, William Rodriguez, box columns and nanothermate, call screeners, 7 WTC, FBI Pentagon tapes, mainstream media, bad war predictions for Iraq, democracy versus a republic, corporations and charters, and magnetic bullet shields.  Talk about getting off topic.

IKTV 202 - The Case for Impeachment

Michael discusses the history and origins of the process of impeachment, from England to pirate ships, and on to the US.  Michael reads the literal statute from the US Constitution and talks about what exactly "High Crimes and Misdemeanors" means, that these are regualr crimes and misdemeanors which are committed by persons who are elected ot placed into positions of high stature in government.  At the US Constitutional Convention, George Mason suggested that we ought to use "maladministration", but James Madison rejected it on the grounds that the term was too vague.  We talk about the impeachments of William Blounch (successful), Andrew Johnson (unsuccessful), John Pickering (successful), Samuel Chase (successful), John English (successful), Nixon (resigned) and Clinton (unsuccessful) before laying out why exactly Bush and Cheney should be impeached.  The reasons for impeaching our executive branch and many, but include violating the oath of office (lying under oath or perjury), personal enrichment, squandering the public money and trust, unconstitutional expansion of executive powers, Treason in the case of 9/11 MIHOP, and torture beyond the Geneva Conventions (by treaty), to name several.  Michael notes some reasons which a few impeach Bush websites often cite (none of which are impeachable) and comments that the falsely cited reasons may be holding up the entire process in the court of public opinion.  I mention that has a letter which everyone could send in to convince their Congressional Representatives to start impeachment proceedings.  Callers are unruly to begin with, and they should have something better to do with their Saturday nights.  Cynthia Ann McKinney had tried to submit a motion to impeach but it was tabled and buried by Congress in the 2005-2007 session.  The current congress, aside from Dennis Kucinich and Russ Feingold, do not seem to want to put the nation through a "national trauma".  Michael recaps the talk given the previous Wednesday by William Rodriguez, the WTC janitor who was the last one out of the towers on 9/11, and talks about the physics of how the towers were built.  An eventual caller tries to act as an apologist for the curtailment of our liberties "because he has nothing to hide" and gets his ass handed to him in a retort by Michael.

IKTV 203 - Walls and Migration

I guess the CG and titles were not working this night since we had to improvise with a handwritten domain name on the front of the podium.  Joining me are some friends of the show who wished to remain anonymous, but you might recognize them if you are from Tucson.  In the first user-suggested show topic, Michael discusses the history of migration from the earliest humans, and that migration was commonplace until we became an agrarian (as opposed to a nomadic) society, and that walls were made originally to protect these newly agrarian societies from their nomadic contemporaries.  These first walls were most notably the Great Wall of China, Hadrian's Wall, walls surrounding cities, Maninot Line, Korean DMZ and the Berlin Wall.  In this show, we keep our discussion to walls between the US and Mexico and the Green Line Wall on the Israeli West Bank.  Michael thinks the walls are unnecessary and likely deadly.  Callers think we should build a wall along the Mexico border complete with snipers, and everyone disagrees.  There are a few good callers including Rick who joined with me and a few others on a walking tour of downtown Tucson where we attempted to be let into the Scottish Rite Cathedral.  Between Thing Three and all the prank callers compared to the leveler heads, this one manages to salvage some good moments out of the chaos.

IKTV 204 - 9/11 Revisited

The distinction between LIHOP and MIHOP ("Let It Happen On Purpose" and "Make It Happen On Purpose") is made clear as Michael discusses the evidence accumulated after six years of investigations by the US government and other organizations.  The 9/11 Commission report is completely bunk, and the US government is only about creating situations to perpetuate war for the benefit of the money lenders and for those who profit directly from the war economy.  Michael again talks about the Hegelian history of wars, starting with (remember) the Maine in Havana harbor to start the Spanish-American war, to the Mexican ambassador in WWI and obviously Pearl Harbor in WWII, to the Gulf of Tonkin, to the Mujahadeen, the first Iraq war, and everything since then.  If you don't have an enemy to fight, you have to manufacture one, with Problem - Solution - Reaction.  The question here is whether on and just prior to 9/11, we allowed some people to attack us or whether the government, with point-person involvement only, manged to set the whole thing up.  Considering the evidence of what happened that day to the statements of PNAC and other illuminati establishments, and who benefitted, and particularly insofar as those who gained the most were the ones who are most implicated in setting it up, it is especially anymore increasingly difficult that 9/11 was anything less than MIHOP.  No phone calls appear in the first 20 minutes, so I cannot remember what they were about, and therefore you are saved from the prankers.  It is truly unfortunate that the video cuts off here.

IKTV 205 - Media and Corporatism

Michael is wearing a chroma-key shirt on this episode to relate the transparency of Media when it comes to getting at the kernel of truth about getting to their real motivations.  You can't see what is behind them, but Michael is completely transparent.  Fuck, snooze, Fox News fucks news.  Is that not what they say on air already?  Since when was it not your job to report and ours to decide?  Oh wait, that's right, you are not really reporting so that you in your unfair and imbalanced way can actually influence what is thought by the mass of lemmings whatching Murdoch's channels.  This is not a complete indictment of Murdoch, et al., but a more indiscriminatory lashing of all the media outlets who report first, based wholly on government sponsored "press segments", all the while without doing any fact checking.  The verdict?  You can only trust Alex Jones, Amy Goodman and FAIR.  That's right, not even NPR.  Orwell Rolls In His Grave.  You must always listen critically, even to IKTV, and Alex, Amy and the good people at FAIR.

IKTV 206 - A Discussion of Non-valuation

In a non-valuation-based "Gift Society", otherwise known as General Reciprocity, there is no money, and everyone gets what they need, while everyone contributes their part, although, unlike in Marxism, not equally by their means to equally to their need.  Michael discusses the differences between Specific Reciprocity (what we use, and what barter and LETS is) and General Reciprocity, which is what the Semai have been using for the last 10,000 years or so, and they have been fine for it.  Now granted, the Semai are a people numbering not much more than 25,000, but to their credit, they are still doing it.  General Reciprocity was also practiced in the US Great Depression because no one had any currency.  GR is a system where everyone has resources and develops them, in coordination with others in the society, so that using Communication, Education and Transportation, everyone in the society gets what they need.  Michael talks about the potential downfalls of this system if it would be implemented worldwide today and how exactly we could overcome all of them, largely by creating a large degree of automation (along with the proportionate amount of "unemployment") and by simply ironically valuing everything, particularly "waste" and externalities, in whatever form.  If you do not have to work that many hours, every breath and shit you take has value.

IKTV 207 - The Election Special

There are a number of items on the ballot this November, but one of particular focus is Proposition 200, the Tucson Water Users' Bill of Rights.  Michael initially though this would be a good idea on the face of it, but after a discussion with guest John Kromko, Michael can take some real counterpoints, due to Kromko's habitual lack of substantiation.  This would repeal the $14-a-month garbage fee, prohibit Tucson Water from hooking up new water connections once the utility is delivering most of its Central Arizona Project allotment, and restrict the use of treated effluent.  Former state lawmaker John Kromko, the architect of Prop 200, argues that the initiative is the best initiative he could muster, and it will force the community to face the reality of our growing population, and save us from someday having treated effluent flowing from our taps.  We also discuss other initiatives which are more likely to win; some do.

IKTV 208 - A Church Without Walls

There is a church in Tucson which does not need a building.  Harkening back to the very early days of Christianity, my guest Chicago, who is the founder and Bishop of the Church Without Walls in Tucson describes his organization with a friend of the show, Angele.  We talk about the fact that God is known where three or more of us gather, and that this gathering does not require walls, dues, tithing, dogma, or any of the other irreputable things which nowadays accompany organized religion.  Chicago made me an (honorary?) Bishop following this show, so now I am not only a Reverend in the Universal Life Church.

IKTV 209 - The Grinch Party Preview

Every December, just for presents, the group known as Jobs With Justice makes a list and checks it twice of all the naughty corporations which cannot seem to be nice.  We all get to vote on which is worst, and the "winner" gets the prize of "Grinch Of The Year".  Our local Tucson JwJ has been doing this same activity locally now for several years, and Michael higlights the egregious nature of all of the candidates.  The winner, ironically, will be selected at a convention which occurs immediately following my show, so the results will air on the next one, but I do not pick the winner, this time.  We take calls from disaffected workers.

IKTV 210 - No War On Iran!

Oh my, what now, again?  I have to do this again?  As if the first time was not lesson enough....  No Iran is not making nukes that it can deliver to us and even (mind you this was 2007) if they are trying, they are at least a decade off.  Iran was not part of 9/11 and Iran is a shiite country, which does not take kindly to the sunni al-quaida people.  Do we really need another war for oil?  This time the military of the proposed sovereign nation which we intend to unilaterally invade actually has a military force which can possibly compete without resorting to guerilla tactics.  Let's just not go there.  The JwJ winner from the last show is announced on air.

IKTV 211 - All I Want For Christmas Is Health Care

Michael outlines what a proper health care system would entail.  This includes a single payer, multi-tier ensemble, akin to Medicare, supported by taxation but by taking HMOs and insurers out of the loop, removing all for-profit health systems including Big Pharma, converting the payment and coding schedule to reincentivize doctors and other health care professionals to get paid not by procedure but by patient, and at that by keeping them well.  If any of that comes to pass, this christmas wish might come true.

IKTV 212 - Force Watch, CopWatch Born Anew

Paul and Michael talk about the origins of CopWatch from Berkeley and that his new organization, Force Watch, can become a new volunteer force to keep track in much more detail and in a much broader scale, the activities of keeping video tabs on police and other paramilitary domestic forces in operation in the US and other countries.  Paul discusses that during the Watts and Rodney King riots, CopWatch took plenty of video to notate the officers involved in documented police abuses and generally in commiting crimes ranging from assault to murder.  We attack the thin blue line of the Old Boys Club, and the subsequent abdication of rights by those harassed by the police.  The US has gotten only worse in the last decade, having now become a fascist police state, with the advent of the USA PATRIOT Act, the revocation of Posse Comintatus by the Military Commissions Act, the John Warner Defense Act, the Thoughtcrimes Prevention Bill (HR1955/S1959), and now further egregious bills like 2012 NDAA.  Paul talks about how no criminal charges had been filed against police, since the CopWatch videos were used to prevent the incarceration of those who were innocent but abused by police.  Paul talks about how Force Watch will be able to proactively deal with police filings to not only release the innocent, but to charge the police criminally with kidnapping and various abuses of power, including prosecutorial and judicial misconduct.  KBR (Halliburton) was contracted to construct 600 detention facilities, for supposedly the detention of people from mass migrations, wherever the source.  FM 3-19.13 is the Investigation Manual for police to investigate a crime, and it is not being adhered to.  Force Watch has drawn up a similar police-style reporting (Civil Oversight Enforcement) form to be used to compile all abuses into a singular database and to report these abuses directly to the judiciary, thereby bypassing both the police and DA.  I wonder how long the Republic of Lakotah will last.  There is way more and Paul talks really fast, so you should really watch this episode.  It is National Recovery Week after New Years Eve, so there was only one call.  It was real; whew!  There is a really bad profiling law in Arizona which allows cops to stop people for braking near a cop.  Try emailing for current information on Force Watch.

IKTV 213 - Let's Get On TV!  The Presidential Preference Election Special

Jim Nintzel is the very first guest host of IKTV, as we all else are candidates for US President in 2008, either from the Democrat or Republican party.  Jim Nintzel describes Project White House and moderates the discussion between candidates.  We are: Libby "Doctress Neutopia" Hubbard, who is a futurist; Michael Oatman, your usual host (see; Chuck See, who is in favor of opening up the political system; Peter "Simon" Bollander, who is very conservative, has dealt with foreign governments, and has a ten-star program; and Charles Skelley, who wrote half of the book that Chrles Gilder already wrote.  Doctress Neutopia wants to take away the cars, See wants to reduce our reliance on them, Skelley wants to reform the government, Oatman wants to stop corporations from becoming the next Kings by ending corporate personhood and to nationalize the Federal Reserve, Skelley agrees, Bollander wants to create regional immediate response centers staffed by taking in the homeless vets and single moms according to his ten-star plan to serve those displaced and to create a national lottery, Neutopia wants to build new cities for the homeless and simultaneously eliminate property rights for the sake of the sacred Earth, Skelley disagrees with removing property rights but thinks that corporations taking eminent domain is not proper either, Michael does not think that an island full of warring astronauts and cavemen is worthy of debate (but gives the caveat that corporations always win), Bollander supports the astronauts, Skelley supports cavemen (having been in the industry), See thinks likewise, and Neutopia thinks that as long as there are no cave women it will be astronauts, and then we take calls.  This is more interesting, since we talk about a New World Order, newbie moderator Nintzel, the Rosemont mine, building new cities without mining, 1872 mining act, recycling rather than mining by sustainably mining landfills, landscaping old mines, other environmental protections, flying rocket cars, love and science being universal, robots taking over, non-valuation and changing working models, artificial intelligence, nanotechnology for medicine, marrying robots, gay marriage, marriage in general, the state should not be involved in deciding who can marry, civil rights, tax laws, Bollander might marry a robot but might not, hydrogen fuel cell cars, herding people into cities (is that Agenda 21, Neutopia?), and closing statements.
Guest Host: Jim Nintzel (on far right -- for once)
Candidates (left to right, not politically): Chuck See (D), Michael Oatman (D), Peter Bollander (D), Doctress Neutopia (D), Charles Skelley (R)

IKTV 214 - Theoretical Physics Rules The World (part 1)

In the first part of a two part Season Two Finale, we discuss the most up to date information known about what exactly the universe is, and what it all means.  Keith Dienes is a leading theoretical physicist from the University of Arizona, endorses community involvement in learning physics, and is a specialist in micro-level particle physics.  What is time?  What is space?  We are in a four dimensional, space-time world.  You have seen all the Discovery Channel® specials, but we have information on the expansion of the universe, dark energy and matter, the Kepler and Hubble Space Telescopes, ground based arrays, symmetry and the unification of forces, the Large Hadron Collider, the God Particle or the Higgs Boson, dark matter and dark energy, how the dimensions work, the number of dimensions, multiverses, quantum entanglement, locality and nonlocality, causality, entropy and the second law of thermodynamics, gravity, string theory and supertrings, music, hinduism, that people 4000 years ago practically understood this better than we do now, we finally have a call screener but it will not help to take calls which do not transfer from one phone set to the other, deforming space-time, the Earth actually does travel in a straight line (I knew it!), extra-dimensional echoes, using electromagnetism to understand gravity, (that this is all one big fractal and that in time we will not be able to travel to other galaxies due to the increasing acceleration, just as now we are not able to travel to multiverses, and that the beginning was just the last one,) the strong and weak anthropic principles, all this has already happened already and that we are just perceiving it in sequence, do we have beliefs, are we in a universe which is finite without boundary like the surface of the Earth, what exactly is the topology and dimensionality of the universe, shooting down missiles, and that string theory is not mathematical theology.

IKTV 215 - Theoretical Physics Rules The World (part 2)

In the second of a two part season finale, we discuss the ramifications and manifestations of the effects of a non-local universe where consciousness is a property of matter, and where love is the energy of currency.  My guests Jack McDaniel (author) and Angele Harnesberry (poet, performer, student of vedicism and seeker of truth) and Michael (your host) are discussing the more esoteric side of that which Keith Dienes and Michael were discussing in the last episode.  We discuss what the reality is in the mind versus (in the last episode) the reality on the ground, including What the Bleep, quantum reality, what is energy, more superstrings, music and vibration, vibrational states of living, auras, expression as a manifestation of your being, telekenesis, consciousness as a property of matter, telepathy, thank you Art Bell, thought experiments on C2CAM, focused thought manifestations, more multiverses, time is a multidimensional string, conscious expansion, critical mass, mental dimensional transformation, I have a bad phone, life is God learning about God, Karma and the Law of Equal Returns, Pleideans and named gods, Vedic cultures, Chariots of Fire, Nephilim, giants, what really is Love when not that In Love, (God is Everything and Everything Else,) Love is a perfect reflection, creativity versus destruction, being in harmony, thoughtform crystalline experiments with water, meditation, how to smile as Circle K clerks and then get laid (kidding!), extending auras for creation, truth is based on perception and that perception is a mass lie, you just need to watch this part, start with yourself and work out, there is not a single way, not for ego, when you are finding, stop looking, more nonlocality and locality, extrasensory perception, clairvoyance, channeling, Edgar Cayce and Acachic Records, time could be a circle or a torus, what is dogma, science, or religion, we need an absolute language, and 2012 predictions.  Calls were in there somewhere.

“For I have sworn upon the altar of god, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man. But this is all they have to fear from me”
  -- Thomas Jefferson

“"And what does it amount to?" said Satan, with his evil chuckle.  "Nothing at all.  You gain nothing; you always come out where you went in.  For a million years the race has gone on monotonously propagating itself and monotonously reperforming this dull nonsense--to what end?  No wisdom can guess!  Who gets a profit out of it?
"Nobody but a parcel of usurping little monarchs and nobilities who despise you; would feel defiled if you touched them; would shut the door in your face if you proposed to call; whom you slave for, fight for, die for, and are not ashamed of it, but proud; whose existence is a perpetual insult to you and you are afraid to resent it; who are mendicants supported by your alms, yet assume toward you the airs of benefactor toward beggar; who address you in the language of master to slave, and are answered in in the language of slave to master; who are worshiped by you with your mouth, while in your heart -- if you have one -- you despise yourselves for it.
"The first man was hypocrite and a coward, qualities which have not yet failed in his line; it is the foundation upon which all civilizations have been built.  Drink to their perpetuation!  Drink to their augmentation!  Drink to--" Then he saw by our faces how much we were hurt, and he cut his sentence short and stopped chuckling.”

-- Samuel Langhorne Clemens, from "The Mysterious Stranger"

“I have lived perfectly well within this society; why cannot these oliogarchs and same misanthropes do as such then?  It is not because of any particular behavior for one sociological manner; rather it is solely caused by the lack of means and those resources to the great many which are foisted particularly by those which do not lack the same.  We have all faced the serpect sick and we know what it is, who it is and where it is, moreover, we all know what is better.  The question we need to ask these days is whether we are able to appreciate this and contribute.  Perhaps more pressing is that we must now, please keep track of each others' whereabouts: regardless of the presence of GITMO DELTA-4, we must assume that we all oblige to perform in our best.  While the shame of our collective nod to the perpetuation of subjugation and torture still happens, it needs to stop immediately, so this next becomes the most important.  The place in this world bears no more space for those ideologues of bigotry nor hatred.  The ancient thought that a betterment of one family or race or strain is somehow purity, that is now obviously not only quaint, but incorrect and patently obtuse and averse from reality.  The old lines are no longer to be sanely held.  We shall not now and ought not to ever more be alone.  I do not want to be this, only in, that only I am this; it is necessary this entire world needs to share that this immutable truth must be known, because, we all of everyone, we do collectively hold the highest and so care about our future, even when it is not our own.  If you will pick any one of the 3600 to stop, please pick ALL OF THEM and make EVERYONE THE CAUSE.”
  -- Michael Oatman  --  19 December 2019
