IKTV 401 - Let's Get On TV 2012: Illegal Knowledge's Arizona Presidential Preference Election Debate Special

See Detail
In the first of four Arizona PPE debates, IKTV features nine dark horse candidates in a debate hosted by Dave Maass of San Diego CityBeat.  Hillarity ensues.  Aside from that, quite a few very good points were made, so you should watch this.  I mentioned, aside from what Newt Gingrich was proposing, that we already have a black ops space program and we could travel anywhere, in our antigravitic craft (the "Auroras" or black triangles), and get there faster than light.  It is really just up to the Kepler Space Telescope to find the earth-like planet(s) for us to visit.  Oh, yeah, I was running for US President again, and I placed first amongst the Project White House Green Party candidates.  I even won the vote in Apache County, Arizona outright!  Now, where are my delegates?  Seriously, does Apache County have Green Party delegates?
In later breaking news, the Arizona Legislature has begun to adopt legislation to prevent so called "dark horse" candidates from running for president, and most probably because of Sarah Gonzales' (beating Buddy Roemer) and my own (winning Apache County) placements with voters in this Presidential Preference Election.  There are far, far, far too many of us!
Guest Host: Dave Maass
Candidates (left to right): Michael Oatman (Green), Donald Benjamin (R), Simon Bollander (R), Cesar Cisneros (R), Kip Dean (R), Sarah Gonzales (R), Al "Dick" Perry (R), Charles Skelley (R) and Jim Terr (R)
Running Time: 0:58:45
Air Date: 18 February 2012

IKTV 402 - The Triannual News Roundup

See Detail
It has been over three years since the last show from Season Three.  Why wait another three years for the recession to be over, and then for Access Tucson to get its funding back?  Get your IKTV world news roundup right here.
People are waking up all around the planet, but here in the United States, when we wake up, we are told and therefore we think we are alone.  Nothing could be farther from the truth.  It takes 5% to have critical mass, and I'd venture to guess that about 15-20% of the US population is now becoming aware.  We are not alone, and we need to tell everyone.  What do we all need to know?  There is too much to write here, but watch and find out!
POST-SHOW UPDATE: During the show, I wondered aloud why Leon Panetta (US Secretary of Defense) while visiting Afghanistan, would demand that the US Marines, who were in attendance at a speech Panetta was making, would be required to leave their weapons behind, citing "safety concerns", particularly considering it is required that US Marines at all times will carry their service weapons with them.  I wondered why exactly some marine might want to kill Panetta, and I think I may have found the basis for his security concerns: a series of comments that Leon Panetta made to Jeff Sessions during an Armed Services Committee hearing where Panetta essentially told Sessions that the US military does not require the approval of Congress to make war, but rather requires "permission" from either the UN or NATO to do so.  Okay, who else is completely aghast at this?  Is it time to impeach Panetta yet?  I'm checking to see whether the UN charter/treaty approval by the US Senate effectively removed war powers from congress.
Also during the show, I cited several websites, for the articles on Project White House, the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act), and the FDA (regarding Truth Transparency and Trust), and I cited the Wikipedia article on the Georgia Guidestones.  We kinda ran out of time, so I would also like to give you some of the other news items I was planning to cover.
First of all, I was right in the middle of saying how we can stop the rapid fluctuation of gasoline prices, and that is by ending speculation.  If we disallowed speculators from betting on future gas prices, or better yet, to prevent another Enron with California rolling blackouts, if we simply made any energy speculation illegal, we could keep prices stable, since the energy companies are not paying the speculative rates, but are charging them to consumers.  We may also want to prevent gas companies from charging significantly more than their production costs (no price gouging).
Another item was that in Arizona, there is a move underway to end all unions in the state, not unlike what was happening last year in Wisconsin and Ohio.  The EU has shown us that "austerity" measures and union busting actually hurts workers and prevents economic recovery, so if you are in Arizona, please look for petitions to sign either online or in person and call your state legislators.
In more news, Occupy Tucson is back in DeAnza park, at Speedway & Stone in addition to the parks downtown.  There is a group called Public Citizen which is gathering support for a constitutional amendment to overturn the Citizens United ruling allowing unlimited campaign contributions from corporations (see for more info).  I would like to see an amendment which removes personhood from all corporations and makes them adhere to a publicly defined and supported charter.
And finally, remember to keep the pressure up on Apple Computers and their CEO, Tim Cook.  Let us stop using and purchasing Apple products until Apple stops using unfair and deadly labor practices in China through Foxconn.  See you in a month!

IKTV 403 - LETS and Time Banks: The Future of Local Currencies

See Detail
Michael would have liked to have been talking with people who are working with the local Occupy Tucson movement and with representatives from Sustainable Tucson, but for various reasons, neither group was able to send representatives to be on IKTV.  The national Occupy movement is, amongst other activities, working on a national bank or (hopefully) credit union, which I believe they are calling "Occupy The Global Financial System", which will serve to protect US Citizens from the Wall Street banking excesses and restore value to this new currency system.  Sustainable Tucson is currently operating a local Time Bank, the details of which can be found at their website.  In what is very possibly the least cringe-worthy solo episode he has ever produced, Michael also explores the possibilities we all will face if there is a future, much larger, economic crash, and what our best large scale options will be in that event as a society no longer dependent on scarce to unavailable federally backed currency, whether General Reciprocity might be a better fit for this situation, and what the real plans are which have been put in place by the globalist banksters.  The true solution?  Make The Banksters IRRELEVANT!  However, and seemingly in response to this notion, the good people at have just notified IKTV that the US federal government has just authorized the purchase of 450 million rounds of hollow point ammunition, which due to the Geneva conventions, can only be used within the US.  That is slightly more than one for each of us, and at two rounds per second, it would take roughly seven years to shoot them all, for those of you doing the math.  Very disturbing news indeed.
Also, in unrelated news, I would like to congratulate the new nation of South Sudan for backing down over an ownership dispute with (north) Sudan over the oil fields on their shared and disputed border.  It seems that cooler heads can actually prevail in order to prevent further civil atrocities in those countries.  IKTV does now officially like South Sudan (although perhaps not enough to move there), and encourages all nations of Earth to recognize this new nation.

Candidate calling in at 22 minutes: Brandon Patrick (AZ House 10)
See:,,,, and
We will have a non-debate style discussion amongst candidates who are running for the Arizona State Legislature as Democrats.  Why just Democrats?  Because all their Republican counterparts belong in an insane asylum.  I can guarantee to you that the first question to the candidates will be whether and then how we can possibly call for Bipartisan Fiscal Sanity and have the AZ Legislature demand that the City of Tucson restore funding for Access Tucson.
Guests: Dave Bradley, Andrea Dalessandro, Dustin Cox, Victoria Steele, Stefanie Mach and Brandon Patrick (on phone).

IKTV 405 - The Future Of Community Media In Tucson

See Detail
PEG had three of its six channels removed from the air by COX Communications in direct contravention to the Tucson Cooperative Cable Corporation Charter, Channel 12 had to move from the APM facility at UA to the TCCC basement, Access Tucson has had its funding stolen by the city, had its days of operation cut from seven to two, and had a staffing reduction of ten plus to three.  Now in July, Access Tucson's channels are being cut down to just one, due to a law paseed by the AZ Legislature.  What will it take to restore the funding and the proper role of community television and other media outlets to Tucson?  New Tucson mayor Jonathan Rothschild (he's a Rothschild) could obviously care less, since even his secretary failed to return my calls and emails about appearing on this show, and I'm sure he would be much happier if community broadcasting did not exist at all, anywhere.
All six Tucson City Council members, to their credit, did return my calls eventually, although all six claimed to have "prior engagements", as quite inexplicably, did any member of LPFM in Tucson.
Personally, I find it baffling that at least the TCC Dems and the LPFM guys would not want to find the time to make an appearance, although it just shows their priorities.
In the Season Four finale, we will discuss what all of us can do to get our voices heard, whether on television, KXCI, APM/NPR, low power FM, on the InterTubes (IndyMedia), in city council, and online.
Guests: Lisa Horner, John Kromko
Running Time: 0:58:30
Air Date: 16 June 2012

“For I have sworn upon the altar of god, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man. But this is all they have to fear from me”
  -- Thomas Jefferson

“"And what does it amount to?" said Satan, with his evil chuckle.  "Nothing at all.  You gain nothing; you always come out where you went in.  For a million years the race has gone on monotonously propagating itself and monotonously reperforming this dull nonsense--to what end?  No wisdom can guess!  Who gets a profit out of it?
"Nobody but a parcel of usurping little monarchs and nobilities who despise you; would feel defiled if you touched them; would shut the door in your face if you proposed to call; whom you slave for, fight for, die for, and are not ashamed of it, but proud; whose existence is a perpetual insult to you and you are afraid to resent it; who are mendicants supported by your alms, yet assume toward you the airs of benefactor toward beggar; who address you in the language of master to slave, and are answered in in the language of slave to master; who are worshiped by you with your mouth, while in your heart -- if you have one -- you despise yourselves for it.
"The first man was hypocrite and a coward, qualities which have not yet failed in his line; it is the foundation upon which all civilizations have been built.  Drink to their perpetuation!  Drink to their augmentation!  Drink to--" Then he saw by our faces how much we were hurt, and he cut his sentence short and stopped chuckling.”

-- Samuel Langhorne Clemens, from "The Mysterious Stranger"

“I have lived perfectly well within this society; why cannot these oliogarchs and same misanthropes do as such then?  It is not because of any particular behavior for one sociological manner; rather it is solely caused by the lack of means and those resources to the great many which are foisted particularly by those which do not lack the same.  We have all faced the serpect sick and we know what it is, who it is and where it is, moreover, we all know what is better.  The question we need to ask these days is whether we are able to appreciate this and contribute.  Perhaps more pressing is that we must now, please keep track of each others' whereabouts: regardless of the presence of GITMO DELTA-4, we must assume that we all oblige to perform in our best.  While the shame of our collective nod to the perpetuation of subjugation and torture still happens, it needs to stop immediately, so this next becomes the most important.  The place in this world bears no more space for those ideologues of bigotry nor hatred.  The ancient thought that a betterment of one family or race or strain is somehow purity, that is now obviously not only quaint, but incorrect and patently obtuse and averse from reality.  The old lines are no longer to be sanely held.  We shall not now and ought not to ever more be alone.  I do not want to be this, only in, that only I am this; it is necessary this entire world needs to share that this immutable truth must be known, because, we all of everyone, we do collectively hold the highest and so care about our future, even when it is not our own.  If you will pick any one of the 3600 to stop, please pick ALL OF THEM and make EVERYONE THE CAUSE.”
  -- Michael Oatman  --  19 December 2019
